Restore one user's data

  1. Login to Admin Console.
  2. From the Admin console dashboard, go to Users.
  3. Locate the user and click their name to open their account page.
  4. On the user's account page, click More More and click Restore data.
  5. Select the date range for the data you want to restore, from within the last 25 days.
  6. Select the type of data you want to restore: Drive or Gmail.
    If you leave the date range fields blank or don’t select a data type, an error message appears.
  7. Click Restore Data.


Restore data for several users

  1. Login to Admin Console.
  2. From the Admin console dashboard, go to Users.
  3. Click the box to the left of each user whose data you want to restore.
    You can select up to 10 users at a time. 
  4. On the toolbar, click More More and click Restore data.
  5. Select the date range for the data you want to restore, from within the last 25 days.
  6. Select the type of data you want to restore: Drive or Gmail.
    If you leave the date range fields blank or don’t select a data type, an error message appears.
  7. Click Restore data.


Note: You have 25 days from when the data was permanently deleted to restore messages. After 25 days, the data is gone forever.
